Forest County Sheriff’s Office is now accepting applications for Full-Time Correctional Officer positions.
No experience necessary, we offer on the job training.


$20.51/hr. and 80 hours of vacation after 1 year of employment

Full time employees will be required to work day and/or night shifts, weekends or holidays. Applicants will be responsible for the supervision, safety and care of inmates as well as maintaining security and safety of all aspects of the Forest County Jail.

SALARY & BENEFITS: 40 Hours of Vacation after 90 days, Pay Wage and Vacation time increases with longevity. Benefits include: Wisconsin Retirement Fund, Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Sick Leave, Vacation Time,9 Paid Holidays, Uniform Allowance, and Deferred Compensation.

Qualifications: Must be 18 years of age; US citizen; high school graduate or equivalent; have a valid Wisconsin driver’s license.

Qualifications: Must be 18 years of age or older; be a US citizen; have a high school diploma or GED; and have a valid WI driver’s license
